Smash Burger Tacos

A fun fusion of juicy smash burgers and crispy taco shells, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Divide the beef mixture into 8 small balls and place one in the skillet. Press down firmly with a spatula to smash into a thin patty. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and crispy. Repeat for all patties.
  3. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to make the burger sauce.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 20 seconds.
  5. Assemble the tacos: place a smash patty on each tortilla, top with shredded cheese, onions, tomatoes, pickles, and a drizzle of the burger sauce.
  6. Fold the tortillas gently and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
