For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper. Pour over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken from the slow cooker and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch and water. Stir into the slow cooker juices to thicken the sauce.
- Return chicken to the slow cooker and coat with the thickened sauce. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
