Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken

A sweet and savory chicken dish cooked to perfection in the slow cooker with a delicious brown sugar and garlic glaze.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from the slow cooker and set aside.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch and water. Stir into the slow cooker juices to thicken the sauce.
  6. Return chicken to the slow cooker and coat with the thickened sauce. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
