For the Crust:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
