For the Crust:
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, mix the sliced steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add the remaining oil to the skillet. Stir-fry the bell peppers and onion for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Return the steak to the skillet and pour in the beef broth.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the vegetables are crisp-tender. Serve hot.
