For the Crust:
- 8 oz rice noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Pour the sauce over the ground beef and stir to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.
