For the Crust:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Brush both sides of the pork chops with olive oil, then rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the chops.
  4. Place the seasoned pork chops on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
