For the Crust:
- 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush both sides of the pork chops with olive oil, then rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the chops.
- Place the seasoned pork chops on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
