For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- Layer the sliced potatoes and chopped onions in the prepared baking dish. Top with the browned ground beef.
- In a small bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over the beef and potatoes.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle with cheese, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
