For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked macaroni, beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
