For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 oz egg noodles, cooked
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add butter, onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream until well combined. Do not boil.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles and season with salt and pepper to taste.
