For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, and cornstarch. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet.
- Add broccoli florets and stir to combine. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
- If using, sprinkle red pepper flakes for a bit of heat. Stir well and serve hot over rice or noodles.
