Greek Meatballs – Crunchy Creamy Sweet

Juicy Greek-style meatballs with a crispy exterior and creamy tzatziki sauce for dipping.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs in batches and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  4. Serve warm with tzatziki sauce for dipping.
