Garlic Parmesan Chicken

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat evenly with the parmesan mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer chicken to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
