For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat. Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the warm marinara sauce.
- Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
