For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 6 tostada shells
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning along with water as directed on the packet.
- Lay out a flour tortilla and spread a spoonful of seasoned beef in the center. Top with a tostada shell.
- Layer shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and sour cream on top of the tostada shell.
- Fold the edges of the tortilla inward, creating pleats to enclose the filling completely.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the folded Crunchwrap seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
- Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling. Serve warm.
