Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, oregano, and milk. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs (about 20-24 meatballs).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite pasta and marinara sauce or as desired.
