For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hamburger buns, toasted
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Place a slice of provolone cheese on each toasted hamburger bun. Spoon the beef mixture over the cheese and serve immediately.
