Butter Swim Biscuits

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups buttermilk

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. Stir in buttermilk until just combined (do not overmix).
  4. Pour melted butter into an 8×8-inch baking dish, then spread the biscuit dough evenly over the butter.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before cutting into squares.
