BLT Pasta Salad

A delicious twist on the classic BLT sandwich, this pasta salad combines crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes with tender pasta and a creamy dressing.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz pasta (rotini or penne)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  3. Add cooled pasta, crumbled bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes to the bowl. Toss gently to coat everything with the dressing.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
