For the Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 oz red food coloring
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cream cheese frosting
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla, cocoa powder, and red food coloring.
- Gradually fold in flour and salt until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before spreading cream cheese frosting on top.
- Cut into squares and serve.
