For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 oz red food coloring
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese frosting

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla, cocoa powder, and red food coloring.
  4. Gradually fold in flour and salt until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool completely before spreading cream cheese frosting on top.
  7. Cut into squares and serve.
