For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 (0.7 oz) packet Italian dressing mix
- 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 8 oz angel hair pasta, cooked
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, Italian dressing mix, golden mushroom soup, chicken broth, cream cheese, and white wine (if using) until smooth.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Serve the chicken and sauce over cooked angel hair pasta.
