Blueberry Cream Cheese Bread

A moist and delicious bread swirled with cream cheese and bursting with fresh blueberries.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  4. Alternately add the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in blueberries.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Dollop cream cheese mixture on top, then swirl with a knife. Add remaining batter.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
