Beef Noodle Casserole

A hearty and comforting casserole with ground beef, egg noodles, and a creamy cheese sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine the cooked noodles, beef mixture, and soup mixture in a large baking dish. Stir well.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
