For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes until vegetables soften.
  3. Stir in the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and let it cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
